The legislation under which the Water Corporation is licensed to operate holds the owner of a property liable for all service charges and water use charges.
While you may require your tenants to pay the charges for water use, this arrangement remains a private matter between the landlord and the tenant.

This is why we find it best practice to have all water accounts managed by Realmark Whitfords. This allows us to receive the invoices and pay them on our owners’ behalf in a timely manner. Once we have received our owners’ account from Watercorp, we will issue an invoice to the tenant for the portion of water usage. They have 14 days in which to pay this account.
